E18015 An exceptional pair of St Louis crystal cocktail shakers with silver mounts and lids. These date from the 1920's when cocktails first became popular. The glass bodies have a very deep, angular, cut design and one is marked, to the base, 'CRISTAL ST LOUIS'. The covers have an integral strainer and these covers bear a French silver hallmark. These are very stylish as well as being practical. There is a very tiny chip to the glass on the base of one but other than this they are in excellent condition.

E18001 Five French crystal water bottles, or carafes, made by Baccarat and dating from c.1870. These all have raised rings around the necks and there is a narrow, cut design around the bulbous section of the bottles. On the neck of the bottles is a wide cut design with a further, fine cut to each edge. The overall effect is very attractive. They are all in excellent condition. There are slight differences in the sizes and we are selling them individually.

At a table setting the difference would barely be noticable so they could be bought with the set beneath if a slightly larger set was needed. The overall height, when the three parts are together, is 21cm. (8 1/4"). This piece is made from a very fine quality French crystal. The shape is very attractive and all three parts have a matching, wide, fluted, cut design, with scalloped edges to the stand and cover. The knop on the lid has a facetted cut. D17226 A pair of French glass storage jars with cut glass stoppers. Unmarked. Date: c.1880. Size: The one on the left of the image is 34.5cm. (13 5/8") high by 8.2cm. (3 1/4") diameter at the foot and the one on the right of the image is 34.9cm. (13 3/4") high by 8.2cm. (3 1/4") diameter at the foot, the only difference being the very marginal difference in the height. They are a very elegant shape, being tall and narrow, with a single knopped stem.
