E18114 A Wedgwood, dark blue jasper dip, trumpet shaped, bough pot and lid. This piece is marked 'WEDGWOOD MADE IN ENGLAND' to the base and it dates from c.1920. It also has an impresed number '8', which relates to the size, and the letter 'B'. It is decorated with a continuous band of classical figures and trees. To the top of the vase is a border of flowers and to the foot is a border of grapes and vines. All of the reliefs are good quality and the jasper dip is a very good, rich, shade of blue. The vase is complete with its' lid which is in the form of a flat pierced disc for supporting the boughs of flowers. This is why they were called 'Bough Pots'. There is slight staining, to the interior, from use, but the piece is in excellent condition and it is a good, useful size.

E18058 A Wedgwood, dark blue jasper dip, spill vase. Although these vases were origianlly designed for containing spills on a mantle piece for lighting the fire, they now make good flowers vases. This one is marked 'WEDGWOOD' to the base and it dates from c.1860. There is also an impressed number '6' or '9'. It is decorated with two of the Muses standing between trees. To the rim is a border of scrolls and flowers. All of the reliefs are good quality and the jasper dip is a very good, rich, shade of blue. It is in excellent condition.

E17888 A dark blue, jasper dip, match box and cover. Marked 'WEDGWOOD ' to the base. This is quite a small, impressed mark and the piece dates from c.1860. The base of the piece is also ridged so that it can be used for stricking the matches which would have been stored in it. It is decorated with three small classical subjects which are divided by anthemions. The lid has various foliate and floral borders. The reliefs are good quality and the jasper dip is a good, rich shade of blue. Both the box and cover are in excellent condition.

This piece is a very attractive shape and, originally, it would have been part of a dressing table set. It is decorated with a classical scene to the lid which is surrounded by a band of oak leaves and acorns. Around the sides are eight small classical scenes which each include cherubs at various pursuits. The reliefs are all well detailed and the blue jasper dip is a good, rich shade of blue. E17661 A small, pale blue, solid jasper plaque of Aurora. Marked 'WEDGWOOD'. This mark is quite small and the letters are individually stamped, so there is a curve to the mark. Date: c.1790. Size: 7cm. (2 3/4") long by 5.5cm. (2 1/8") wide. This plaque is of very good quality. The jasper has a very fine, silky smooth texture and the white relief is very well detailed. There is a small stain on the white relief, which can be seen in the image, but the piece is in excellent condition. Aurora was the Roman Goddess of the dawn. £95. U.S.A.

(5 1/2") high to the top of the handle. The total width, including the handle is 11.8cm. (4 5/8"). This shape of jug was catalogued as a 'club' shape due to the shape of the rim. These candlesticks are very simple in form, with a band of grapes and vines, in white relief, around the flat bases.
